CHESHAM was the coldest place in England last night as the cold snap continued.
Temperatures in the Chilterns town dropped to a chilly minus nine degrees, although the coldest town in the UK was Aboyne in Scotland, where the mercury plumtted to minus 10.5.
Tonight is set to be the final night of the icy weather, with temperatures set to be milder from Wednesday.
