NOW that the Government, of which Mrs Gillan is a part, has firmly decided to ride roughshod over the wishes, homes and livelihoods of many of her constituents [re HS2), I wonder if she intends to live up to her pre-election promises and fight for their rights?
Will she show some strong principles and give up her Cabinet post to join the legal fight or will she carry on enjoying the ministerial role that effectively limits her ability to attack government policies?
If she chooses the latter road then I hope her constituents decide to have long memories.
