A NUMBER of tools were stolen from an unoccupied house in Chalfont St Giles.
Between 4pm on January 13 and 10am the following day offenders gained entry to the house in Dodds Lane.
They stole a blue Makita petrol cutter, an orange Husqvarna petrol cutter, a yellow DeWalt breaker, a red Milwaukee breaker, a Bosh hammer drill, a blue Makita grinder, a yellow DeWalt power drill, 12 yellow upright flood lights and a green/black Hitachi grinder.
PC Roy Evans, of Amersham police station, said: “I would like to speak to anyone who may have seen someone acting suspiciously in the area around the time of the incident.
“I am also keen to speak to anyone who may have been offered one of these tools for sale.”
Anyone with any information about the burglary, or who has been offered one of the tools, should contact PC Evans on 101 or call the Crimestoppers charity anonymously on 0800 555 111.
