TWO teenagers have been arrested after a 16-year-old boy sustained a stab wound, which left him with a punctured lung, during an incident in High Wycombe last Thursday.
The incident happened between 7 and 7.30pm outside the M&M newsagents and the fabric shop in Totteridge Road.
The victim suffered a small stab wound to his ribs which left him with a punctured lung. He was taken to Stoke Mandeville Hospital where he is in a stable condition, police said.
An 18-year-old man and a 16-year-old boy, both from High Wycombe, have been released on bail until February 28, pending further investigation.
Det Sgt Yasmin Dean, who is investigating the incident, said: “Although we have made two arrests we still need more witnesses to come forward.
“There were a number of teenagers hanging around in the area at the time and although not all of them would have been involved they may have information that could help us progress our investigation.”
Anyone with any information about this incident should contact Wycombe CID on 101 or call the Crimestoppers charity anonymously on 0800 555 111.
