A FORMER Borlase pupil is looking for love on Saturday night game show Take Me Out.
Unlucky in love student, Cate Augustin, 21, from Marlow, has joined 29 female singletons all hoping to find their dream guy on the dating game show.
The ITV contest hosted by Bolton comedian Paddy McGuiness, sees four brave bachelors try to bag themselves a date with one of thirty flirty women.
Each woman has a light which she can turn off when she’s unimpressed by the bachelor who has three chances to impress the females.
If any of the women still have their lights on by the end, the man can chose which lady he wants to whisk off on a date.
In the past, the Nottingham University English student has struggled to find her dream guy.
She said: “I’ve never had a proper boyfriend. I’ve been on a few dates here and there, just for drinks but I’ve just not met that perfect guy.
“A friend and I signed up for the show for a massive laugh, but I never thought in a million years I would actually get through.
“So if I find someone on the show I really like and we get on really well, that will be a massive bonus.”
Despite 30 women fighting for one man, the former Sir William Borlase pupil is surprised how much the girls get on.
She said: “It’s amazing, not like anything I’ve experienced before, I’ve had such a great time.
“All the girls are so nice. We all get on really well which you wouldn’t expect with 30 of us, you would think there would be some bitchiness but there really isn’t.
You can see Cate on Take Me Out tonight at 7.15pm on ITV.
