A PLEA hearing for the man accused of murdering Amersham's Ryan Cronin has been adjourned for a second time today after the defendant said he wanted new legal representatives.

Andrew Lambert appeared at Reading Crown Court this morning, charged with murdering 41-year-old Mr Cronin, who was found dead at his flat in Quarrendon Road on August 5.

But the court heard 39-year-old Lambert, of Woodlands Road, Hemel Hempstead, wishes to be represented by a new solicitor.

It meant the planned plea hearing could not go ahead as planned.

A hearing which will decide whether to allow Lambert to go ahead with his request, and to set a new date for the plea hearing, will take place at the same court on Monday January 16.

It is the second time the plea hearing has been adjourned, with his original court appearance also being postponed in December after his defence team asked for more time to prepare.
