A MAN has been jailed for unlawfully wounding his former partner.
Lloyd Lothian, 35, was sentenced to 15 months imprisonment at Aylesbury Crown Court sitting in the Amersham Law Courts today.
He was jailed after Sasha Williams-Rowe suffered serious injury after being wounded with a large knife at her home in London Road, Loudwater, on October 14, 2010.
Lothian entered a guilty plea to unlawful wounding but pleaded not guilty to wounding with intent at what was expected to be day one of a third trial.
The first trial was called off in May after the judge became ill on the final day of evidence and a second trial was abandoned in September.
Lothian has also been slapped with a restraining order preventing him from contacting, visiting or approaching Ms Williams-Rowe for five years.
Sentencing, his Honour Judge Lord Parmoor said: “We came back for a third attempt and you have pleaded guilty to terms acceptable to the crown.
“No-one will be happy on either side but I thank you for taking the decision to bring matters to an end.”
