MARLOW is set to host a huge tournament for disabled footballers this weekend - with about 30 teams set to travel to the town.
It will be the first Berks, Oxon and Bucks Inclusive Football League [BOBi] tournament to come to south Buckinghamshire - thanks to the new Astroturf pitches at Marlow Sports Club.
More than a dozen Wycombe-based teams will compete in the tournament, which includes Under 12, Under 16 and adult categories.
Several junior teams, covering youngsters with all disabilities, train at Cressex School on Wednesdays, with sponsorship from Platts Motor Company.
Coach John Ayling, who also works for Platts, said: “We are really looking forward to staging the tournament and showing off the new facilities.”
