A KEEN craftswoman who dreamed of opening a shop all her life has done just that- in Princes Risborough.
Sally's Sewing Box was opened in the High Street on Saturday morning at 10am by the town's mayor, Eunice Clifford.
Owner Sally Baker, 54, said there is a real need for a haberdashery shop in the town.
She added: "I have always wanted a shop since I was a little girl. I inherited some money recently so I put it into opening a shop. Hopefully it will suceed."
Mrs Baker, of Wellington Avenue, has always being into her crafts although her most recent job was a dental receptionist.
Her two daughters, Alice Tarry, 30 and Janey Schreiber, 28, will be helping her in the shop.
The shop will be open 9-5pm Monday to Saturday.
