POLICE believe a shooting at a bus stop in Wycombe Marsh may be linked to disorder in Micklefield about an hour earlier.
A 20-year-old was shot in the lower leg when he was stood at a bus stop in London Road at about 6pm yesterday. Police said he remains in a stable condition in hospital.
Police said it may be linked to disorder at the junction of Gayhurst Road and Baring Road at about 5pm yesterday.
Twelve people, all male and aged between 12 and 18- years-old, have now been arrested. Eight have been released on bail this evening, and four remain in police custody.
Deputy area commander Ch insp Colin Seaton said: "The incident in which the victim was shot in the leg may be linked to disorder earlier that afternoon.
"We are committed to bringing those responsible to justice and it is still the belief that this was a targeted attack.
"I am appealing to anyone who witnessed disorder at the junction of Gayhurst Road and Baring Road at about 5pm to come forward, as they may hold information vital to our ongoing inquiry."
