THE windy weather will be heading out the back door this evening, according to a Bucks forecaster.
Jim Dale from British Weather Services told the BFP the windy conditions we have seen this week will be the last of it for the time being.
He said next week will be a lot more sedate although there will be a bit of wind around on Saturday.
Mr Dale added: "What we have seen is now going out the back door this evening and will not return for at least a week or more than that."
The highest recorded wind speed in the area overnight was 50mph, which he said is enough to cause some structural damage.
He said: "I think the main debris that was out there, apart from the rubbish, was broken branches and trees."
Next week will be quite pleasant during the day, he said, although after the middle of the month there may be colder weather.
The Hazlemere-based independent forecaster said: "It may go colder from mid-month. It will be a bit more changeable after that."
And as for snow, he said the models are currently not suggesting the white stuff.
Mr Dale said after the 16th and towards the end of January the risk of snow increases.
