Wind damage to roof keeps school closed
PUPILS taking mock exams have returned to Dr Challoner’s Grammar School today but for the rest of the school it is another day off after wind damaged the roof.
A large section of the Amersham school’s hall roof was damaged, as the photo shows, which meant the start of the term has been delayed.
The photo was taken by the headmaster, Dr Mark Fenton, who posted it on his Twitter site.
Work for the rest of the students will be posted on the school's website, www.challoners.com.
