TRIUMPHANT X-Factor singing sensation Leigh-Anne Pinnock kicked off the Christmas weekend with a homecoming party in High Wycombe last night.
The Little Mix starlet met with family and friends at The Wycombe Academy of Music and Art in Bridge Street on Friday night – and got a hero’s welcome from well-wishers helping to celebrate her success.
The Downley resident’s mum, Debbie Pinnock, proudly joined her daughter as the evening got underway.
It was just a pit stop in Leigh-Anne’s work with the band though – earlier today the four singers were interviewed on BBC Radio Two’s Graham Norton Show. There they said they were planning to find a new home together in London as they prepared to embark upon a live tour.
The group added it was hoping to release new material as soon as possible – hopefully sooner than the usual winter release date for the winning X-Factor contestants’ debut album.
Little Mix’s winners single – a cover version of Damian Rice ballad Cannonball – topped the charts this week, but the Military Wives single ‘Wherever You Are’ is tipped to take the Christmas number one spot tomorrow.
