A PUB in Totteridge Lane is to revert to its former name, The Dolphin, after undergoing a refurbishment.
The High Wycombe pub changed its name to The Chameleon in December 2009 after a £75,000 refurbishment.
And now it is to change back to its former name and re-open towards the end of November.
Mike O'Connor, business development manager for Greene King, who run the pub, said it is currently closed to introduce a new menu and create a "modern, bright and comfortable proper pub."
He said: “The pub’s makeover is part of a new concept of franchise pubs unveiled by Greene King in June called Meet and Eat.
"The Meet and Eat franchise pubs offer franchisees a pub which is ready to run, with full refurbishment inside and out, supplied food and drinks menus, and support from Greene King’s experienced regional and national team."
It plans to open towards the end of November with an experienced manager, while it searches for a franchisee to take on the pub long term.
