A HAMMER was used to threaten staff during a robbery at a hairdressers in High Wycombe on Sunday.
A cash box containing a large amount of money was stolen from The Barber Shop in Kitchener Road when three men entered the shop at about 1.30am.
The three men, who are all aged in their twenties and between 5ft6ins and 5ft9ins tall, then ran from the shop and away from the scene in the direction of Suffield Road.
Police investigating the robbery have said the suspects are all slim and spoke with local accents but their ethnicity is unknown. They have today launched an appeal for information.
Det Con Richard Hobson said: “I am keen to speak to anyone who may have been the area and saw these men immediately prior to the robbery, or saw them running from the scene afterwards.”
Anyone with information should contact Det Con Hobson on 0845 8 505 505 or the Crimestoppers charity anonymously on 0800 555 111.
