A FAMILY run nursery in Walters Ash has been awarded an "outstanding" grading in its latest Ofsted report.
Red Kites Day Nursery, which is on the RAF High Wycombe site, received the accolade for the second time- the first in 2008.
It is one of four nurseries run by The House That Jack Built which was first established in 2000 by Margaret Whelan.
She said: "I am thrilled with this wonderful achievement and this accolade is a credit to the whole team whose enthusiasm and commitment is inspirational.
"The report details how committed everyone is to the children within our care and I am personally delighted that myself and the team have been recognised for our hard work and determination. It means so much to our parents and to us, that the children are being nurtured in such a special way. Naturally we wanted to share our fabulous news."
At a recent parents evening Sarah Rea OC Admin Wing on behalf of the Station Commander presented a Station Commanders Commendation to the nursery in recognition of its ‘outstanding’ achievement and to the strong relationship they have with the station and its community.
