WHILE I have no issues with dogs after owning one for many years, I do take issue with their owners.
Taking their dogs for walkies twice a day, there are certain gardens in our once very happy close that suffer every time the dogs go by.
The ruling when we bought our houses when they were built was no fences in the front of the property, so our gardens are open plan. Most people respect this, but dogs on long expanding leads don’t.
Short leads would give the owner more control and would lessen the growing animosity.
Those of us affected would be grateful if you could publish this – it may just do some good.
