THE driver and passengers of a silver car are being sought as witnesses by police after a young woman moped rider was injured.
The 22 year-old skidded on the wet surface in Silver Hill, Chalfont St Giles, near the junction with Sussex Close yesterday.
She suffered minor leg injuries and was released from Wexham Park Hospital the same day.
PC Anna McShane, of Amersham roads policing, said: “I am keen to trace anyone who may have witnessed this incident, in particular the occupants of a silver hatchback, possibly a Vauxhall Astra, who left a parking space on Silver Hill near to the junction of Sussex Close and headed off towards the village centre.”
If you have information about this incident, please contact PC McShane via the 24-hour non-emergency number, 0845 8 505 505. If you do not want to speak to the police or leave your name, call the Crimestoppers charity on 0800 555 111.
