FLACKWELL HEATH: More than 80 drivers were sent a warning letter from police after a speeding operation on Straight Bit last month.
A speed indication device, deployed by police community support officers between 8 - 9.30am on October 17, recorded 27 vehicles travelling over 30mph.
On October 21, between 3 - 4.45pm, the device recorded 55 vehicles above the limit.
Letters will be issued to the drivers to inform them of the community's views on road safety.
If any repeat offenders are identified then further action could be taken.
BOURNE END: The Bucks Federation of Women's Institutes believes there could be enough interest to create a WI group in Bourne End, and staged an introduction evening at the library last night to gauge interest.

BOURNE END: The Exercise Clinic, based at Wye Valley School, is up for a National Fitness Award for its rehabilitation facilities. It has also been nominated for an award relating to the achievements of Alex Field, one of its members who has Down's syndrome. Alex has improved his overall fitness and self-confidence to the extent that he has achieved a Duke of Edinburgh Silver Award and lost a stone in weight.
FLACKWELL HEATH: Singer George Dean will be providing the music at the Flackwell Heath Royal British Legion tomorrow from 8pm to 11.15pm. On Thursday the branch will be holding a Scouts night from 7pm, for which it is hoping to find speakers. It is looking for any former service personnel interested in recounting their experiences or showing their memorabilia to get in touch. Call George O'Leary on 01628 526360.
FLACKWELL HEATH: Fireworks are set to return to the village tomorrow, thanks to school parents and volunteers from a village scout group. The event at the Carrington Schools Sports Field, at the end of Chapel Lane, is a major fundraiser for the 1st Flackwell Heath Scout Group, Carrington Schools Parents’ Association and the Friends of Juniper Hill.
Last year more than 2,000 people attended the family event, which has been running for 19 years. The money raised enabled a re-fit of the widely-used Scout HQ with a new heating system, as well as the purchase of lightweight modern tents.
The gates open at 6pm on Saturday for a 6.45pm start. There will be two twenty-minute firework shows, with a Guy competition, bonfire and a bar. Tickets are £6, with free entry for under 5s.
LOUDWATER: St Peter's Church in Loudwater has a range of activities for pensioners on Tuesday afternoons. The first and third Tuesdays of the month are usually Bible studies, with film afternoons and tea parties with a speaker on the remaining weeks. Meetings start at 3pm and usually finish by 4.30pm. LOUDWATER: Staff at the Millhouse Dental surgery in Loudwater raised more than £200 for charity by wearing pink clothes and holding cake sale on Tuesday last week. The money raised will go to Breakthrough Breast Cancer.
LOUDWATER: Police are appealing for witnesses after stones were thrown from the railway bridge over Rayners Avenue. A vehicle was damaged in the incident, which happened between 11.30 on October 7 and 12.30am on October 8. Call 0845 8 505 505 and quote URN: 186 - 08/10/2011, if you can help.
WOOBURN GREEN: St Paul's Church hosts a play on the life of celebrity chef Fanny Craddock tomorrow. The one woman show, titled The Life and Loves of a Kitchen Devil, is part of the 2011 Theatre in the Villages programme. Tickets are £10 (£8 concessions) and it starts at 8pm.
