A ONCE in a lifetime chance to join Wycombe Wanderers Community Trust helping deprived children in Kenya has been launched this week.
The club have signed up to the project and are now looking for Blues fans to get involved.
A team of at least 20 volunteers will spend ten days in the south west of the country coaching football and other sports, teaching in schools and community work with children.
Participants don't need qualifications - they will be provided with teaching/sports coaching resources prior to departure and will also receive fundraising support from the club's Community Trust staff.
The whole trip is organised from start to finish by Kenyan Adventure, a vastly experienced company who have carried out many similar projects in the past. The fundraising target is £2,000 which covers costs, contributes to the local area in Kenya, and also benefits the Community Trust.
A presentation evening giving more information on the scheme takes place at Adams Park from 7pm on Wednesday November 23. Email ash.smith@wwfc.com to register your place.
