A KEY report on the controversial High Speed 2 rail project is to be published on Tuesday.
The Transport Committee is to announce its findings about the scheme next week.
It will be eagerly anticipated by Bucks residents, many of whom have campaigned against the plans.
If given the go ahead the line, which would link London with Birmingham, would cut through the Chilterns Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty - to the fury of campaigners.
The project would cost £17billion and many have complained about the project's cost and questioned the business case behind the plans.
