TWO people have been arrested on suspicion of murder after the death of a seven-week-old baby in Amersham.
A post mortem showed the baby girl died from 'non-accidental injuries', police said today, after she died on the evening of Monday October 24.
An ambulance was called to a property in Pear Tree Close on the evening of Saturday October 22 after the baby girl stopped breathing.
She was taken to Stoke Mandeville Hospital before being transferred to the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford, before later dying.
Two people, a 29-year-old man and a 26-year-old woman, were yesterday arrested on suspicion of murder. They have been released on bail until February 6.
