Never mind Jamie and Gordon – Phil Pearce and James Eden squared up for an epic bout as part of Paradigm Housing’s Children in Need appeal. The challenge - who could bake the best Pudsey cake?
When the two bears met eye to eye at Paradigm’s headquarters in Wooburn Green near High Wycombe, it was a tough call. An anonymous email vote by all staff put James ahead, although those lucky enough to taste both gave Phil the nod.
Other staff from the housing association and residents at three sheltered housing schemes: Atlas House in Chesham, Glebe House in Chalfont St Peter and Croft House in Iver, Berks, raised money by baking, serving coffee and holding raffles.
So far the total has reached £610, so a big bear hug goes to everyone who took part.
