A PUBLIC Inquiry will look into Pinewood Studios' plan to build 1,400 new homes on 'live-in' film sets in Iver Heath.
South Bucks District Council refused the £200 million plan in October last year but Pinewood launched an appeal in April.
The date and length of the Inquiry has not been set at this stage.
More than 100 protesters were at the council offices as the planning committee unanimously rejected the proposal. All said the development was inappropriate for land which is designated as Green Belt.
Pinewood bosses said the development, which would include a mock-Parisian square and Venice canal, would create 960 permanent jobs and generate £60 million per year of gross added value to the UK economy.
