THURSDAY NIGHT is Quiz Night at the Royal Standard on Grange Road. The pub is continuing to change under its new owners and the quiz night is just one of the developments, and a popular one too. The quiz has around 60 questions and begins at 9pm. It is a test of general knowledge between small teams played in several rounds, some with a specialist theme.
