SOUNDS SENSATIONAL Concert at Little Missenden Church tomorrow at midday will feature 40 children from Prestwood Infants School, performing songs and sounds created in workshops with local composer Janet Davey as part of this year's Little Missenden Festival.

Tickets cost £4 for adults and £2 for children under 16.

RACE NIGHT and Pig Roast takes place tomorrow at 7pm in the Scout Hall, Nairdwood Lane. Tickets are £8 including supper. The event is in aid of The Thomas Ball Children's Cancer Fund. To book ring 01494 890157.

OUR THEATRE CLUB is well-established and successful, but they do need to recruit people to develop behind the scenes expertise. If you would like to find out more about this, join them tomorrow for an Evening of Theatrical Quizzery and Merriment in the Village Hall at 7.30pm. A light buffet is provided but you have to take your own drinks.

PRIESTFIELD ARBORETUM in Stony Lane, Little Kingshill, will be open on Sunday from 10.30am to 4.30pm.

EVENING WI hold their AGM on Tuesday at 7.45pm in the Village Hall, followed by the Harvest Auction.

WI JUMBLE SALE is in the Village Hall on Saturday October 15 at 2pm. Jumble will be welcomed from 12.15pm.

PUBLIC MEETING of the Prestwood Forum for Farming and the Countryside will be on Tuesday, October 18 at 8pm in the Village Hall. It will be on Farming and Conservation. The principal speaker will be Neil Harris who is the Estate Manager for The National Trust at Hughenden Manor.
