COCK LANE remains closed for bridge repairs and is not due to reopen until Monday, October 17. If this anticipated date changes I will let you know through this column next week.
SUCCESSFUL Harvest Supper last Saturday involved both villages and the response was excellent. About 180 people enjoyed the lovely food and some excellent musical entertainment.
ALPHA COURSE continues in the Parish Rooms on Monday evenings. You can still join the meetings and you will be warmly welcomed. You can get more details by phoning Anthea Carter on 01494 813015.
BELL RINGING is very satisfying and is good exercise. If you have ever considered joining a bell ringing group why not contact Holy Trinity and go along on Monday evenings from 8pm. Contact the Bell Captain, Alison Bayley, on 01494 725686.
PHARMACY is now situated with the Doctors' Surgery on Elm Road. It isn't easy to see from the road but I am informed they are hoping to have signs up very soon.
