"JOURNEY'S END" is presented by the Ubiquitous Touring Theatre Company and it is a gripping drama from the First World War trenches. It will take place in the Village Hall on Saturday, October 15 starting at 7pm. There will be dinner before the play, 1940s style by the WI. Tickets are £9 from 01494 562099.

CHATTERBOX is the monthly coffee drop-in tomorrow from 9.30am to midday and then every first Thursday of the month. The Youth Drop-in for 14 to 18 year olds is on Thursday evenings as demand requires from 6.30pm to 9.30pm at The Father's House.

TENNIS CLUB'S Mixed 1 and Aylesbury Men's teams both came top in their divisions and have been promoted. Well done.

EVENING WI have their AGM on Thursday, October 20 and on Thursday, October 27 they have another theatre outing, this time to see "Tom, Dick, and Harry". Preparations are underway for the craft fair on Thursday, November 3 when cakes and jams will be needed.

NAPHILL NEIGHBOURS have their AGM on Monday, after which Betty Hardy will talk about the history of Book Marks.

CONGRATULATIONS go to Sharon and Mark Dell who have so far raised £4,855 towards Breakthrough Breast Cancer. They walked the required 60km and are enormously grateful to their sponsors.

OVER SIXTIES CLUB will be reminded about National Service on Friday, October 21 when Peter Smith gives a talk on that subject.
