AN ELDERLY shopkeeper in Micklefield was threatened at knifepoint during a robbery on Thursday morning.
Sixty-four-year-old Anwar Mohammad was stocking the Star Supermarket, in Gayhurst Road, at around 6.30am when two black youths entered the shop and produced a knife.
One of the two intruders threatened Mr Mohammed with a knife as the other took a box containing no more than a few business cards from underneath the shop counter.
The two men then ran off into Green Close towards an alleyway which leads out into Hicks Farm Rise, leaving Mr Mohammed shaken by the incident but unharmed.
He said: "I was by the frozen section when the two of them came in. One of them came right up to me with a knife. It was very early in the morning and I was just shocked by the whole incident. The two of them both looked so young, which was very surprising.
"They took a box from under the till but it didn't have anything valuable in or any cash."
One of the youths was aged about 17-years-old, 5ft 6ins and slim. He was wearing a dark hooded top and dark trousers. The second youth was slightly shorter, but has a similar description.
Anyone who saw anything suspicious between the times mentioned is asked to contact Detective Sergeant Russ Murden, at High Wycombe CID on 0845 8 505 505, or if you don't want to talk to police or give your name, call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111
