TEACHERS in Buckinghamshire have proved they can make the grade after graduating with headship qualifications from the National College for School Leadership.
Patrick Walker, from Cressex Community School, in Holmers Lane, Janine Strachan, from Little Spring School, in Greenway, Chesham, and Donna Goodwin from Bisham C of E Primary School, in Church Lane, Bisham, are among hundreds of new recruits in the south who gained a headship qualification in 2005.
The ceremony was held at the University of Surrey, in Guildford, last month. The qualification is necessary for anyone applying for the top job at a school.
