I WAS appalled to read the front page of the Free Press last week to realise that two of your reporters did nothing but try to discredit two police community support officers doing a thankless and boring job guarding the helicopter which had landed in an accident.
Thankfully the pilot was not killed. The PCSOs did a wonderful job helping the way they did.
A more Christian thing to do would have been to offer the PCSOs a drink of tea perhaps, seeing how they were left for goodness knows how long waiting to be relieved from their duties.
With the country going downhill at such a pace, could you not try and find something to cheer us, not make us even more depressed?
