IF YOU WOULD LIKE to go to Beehive Jazz Club's first session this autumn, the date is tomorrow, the time 8pm, at the Youth Annexe of the Stokenchurch Community Centre. The Jazz Night with Melodic Jazz will feature vocalist Jackie Highe, bar and raffle as usual. Tickets are £5 at the door.

COMMUNITY TRANSPORT coffee mornings will resume on Wednesday at 10am in Longburrow Hall with raffle and bring and buy.

KEEP SATURDAY, October 15 free to support community transport, the Day Centre and the Scouts. The event is the Autumn Fair on the village green, from midday, with craft stalls, car boot, companion dog show, bouncy castle and slide. Something completely different for this village will be tame wolves! Also demonstrations of an old skill by a bodger, cane weaving and chair making. There's a barbecue and refreshments in the Methodist Church Hall.

ON THE EVENING of October 15, the Memorial Hall Social Club is holding a mixed pairs knock-out darts competition in aid of the restoration fund at 7pm for 7.30pm in the Memorial Hall.
