WOULD YOU LIKE TO take part in possibly the world's biggest ever quiz? The current record stands at 888 participants at a single venue. The Round Table aims to beat this at the Swan Theatre on Monday, December 12. The quiz promises to be an entertaining evening as well as a record maker. OUR LADY OF GRACE'S silver anniversary year got off to a fine start last Saturday when a packed congregation of present and past parish members and guests attended a thanksgiving Mass and tea party. Chief celebrant at the Mass was Canon Anthony Griffiths, former parish priest at St Augustine's, High Wycombe and more recently St Peter's, Marlow. He was assisted by Fr Tom Feighan of St Augustine's, former parish priest at Our Lady of Grace, Fr John Bierne and present parish priest Fr Stephen McGuinness. The choir of sister church St Wulstan's was joined by members of the choir of Our Lady of Grace to lead the singing at this joyful event. After the Mass, friends old and new were able to mingle while they enjoyed a magnificent tea.

Saturday's celebration marked the anniversary of the laying of the foundation stone at Our Lady of Grace. The coming year of reflection and celebration will end on Saturday, October 7, 2006, the 25th anniversary of the opening and consecration of the church. The next social event will be a Christmas bazaar on November 26.
