WITH reference to the comments about education officers by Tim Dingle, head of the Royal Grammar School, High Wycombe, published in the Free Press on September 9.
I am really disappointed that he chose to play out his concerns with the county council in the public domain rather than, if there were issues, have a professional dialogue with me personally.
I don't propose to prolong that public debate other than to re-emphasise that Buckinghamshire is considered to be a leading education authority in a number of fields, not least of which are continuing professional development and school self evaluation.
Sue Imbriano, Chief education officer, Buckinghamshire County Council
