HUGHENDEN MANOR is the venue for several interesting activities in the following weeks. There's a Top Secret Tour - on Thursday and again on Thursday, September 8 at 10.45am. You can go on an exclusive house tour revealing the history of Hughenden during the Second World War. Both include a two-course lunch for £17.50.

Summer in the Garden is on Thursday, August 18 at 2pm. Go on a guided tour with the head gardener followed by cream teas. Booking is required adult price is £6.50.
Painting Places takes place on Friday, August 26 between 1pm and 4pm. Guidance from experienced artists will be on hand for painting and drawing. Basic materials will be supplied.
Perhaps the highlight of August is the annual visit of Pete Allen's Jazz Band on Saturday 13 at 7.30pm when you can enjoy a summer evening of popular jazz and favourite tunes in the manor's formal gardens. Adult tickets are £17.50.
