CHURCHYARD fence painting starts at St Mary's Church tomorrow, meeting by the entrance gates at 10am. There will be more on Saturday, August 13 with the same times. NOT LONG now to the Village Show which will celebrate its 30 years. The show has been organised by the Farnhams and Hedgerley Horticultural Society for Sunday, September 11. There is still time to pick up a schedule from a village shop, or the library, and there are many classes for children, who have time to prepare for them during the holidays.

THE HISTORICAL SOCIETY is planning a special event on Wednesday, October 21 to mark the 200th anniversary of the Battle of Trafalgar. Make a note of the date and look out for full details.
