GARDENING ASSOCIATION met on Monday and they are looking for member volunteers to get more involved. It need not be at committee level, although you would be most welcome, but particularly in assisting with the Sunday morning activity at Cedar Barn.

It would be for two hours, once a month, working with the cashiers or the loaders and assisting them with their duties on the day.

Remember a couple of events to come this year are the Autumn Show, in September, and the ever popular Cheese and Wine evening in October which is always a great social event.

VILLAGE FETE takes place on August Bank Holiday Monday, August 29 starting at 1pm and finishing at 4.30pm. It will be a busy day for all who help. Many local charities benefit from the occasion and are involved on the day.

There's a fire engine and lots of other activities to entertain you, so make sure you get there to enjoy what's on offer.
