KRAFTY KIDS Summer Special will be held on Tuesday at the Baptist Church from 10.30am to 11.30am. There will be summer arts and crafts and messy fun for one to eight year olds.

WEDNESDAY FUNDAYS will be held at Hughenden Manor on August 10, 17 and 24 from midday to 4pm. Come and join in family friendly free activities in the formal gardens. Normal admission charges will apply. Get further details from 01494 755573.

CHORAL SOCIETY is looking for new members to join them when they reconvene on Monday, September 5 after the summer break. Rehearsals are held every Monday at 7.45pm in the Oldham Hall, Church Street. They will start preparing for a Christmas Concert to take place on December 10. HOLIDAY ACTIVITIES for children at the library include The Reading Voyage. All you need to do is fill in the application form at the library and you will be given a pack of quizzes, puzzles and a folder with lots of fun ideas on how you can take part over the holidays.

CHILDREN ARE INVITED to "experience music" when Jo Jingles entertains at the library on Wednesday, August 24 at 11am.

ONGOING SALE of ex-stock books, videos etc is taking place at the library. It's a good opportunity for you to pick up some reasonably priced books, possibly to take on holiday.
