A HOMEOWNER says the Royal Mail ignored incorrectly delivered registered post for more than a week after receiving a bumper delivery.
Latif Sageer, of Park Farm Road, High Wycombe received 15 letters, some recorded delivery, for six different addresses.
Mr Sageer kept the letters and immediately called the Royal Mail to highlight the mistake.
He said: "I had these letters pushed through my mail box and a lot of them are not for me.
"Some of the letters you have to sign for. I spoke with the post office and it said it should not have happened."
When no one came to pick up the post Mr Sageer called the post office again. He was told the person dealing with the problem was away, but someone would call him back.
He said: "I still have all this mail. What concerns me is that other people's mail is still in my house so my mail could equally be in someone else's house."
Mr Sageer has had difficulties with deliveries in the past and wants Royal Mail to solve the problems quickly.
He said: "I wrote to the Royal Mail. I was sent a letter and a book of 12 stamps for compensation. Nothing ever gets done.
"I want to ensure that it does not happen again."
A spokesman for Royal Mail said Mr Sageer received a face-to-face apology from a sorting office manager four days after the questionable delivery.
He said: "One of our delivery managers visited the property on Friday. A recorded delivery item was put through the door."
He confirmed that any irregularity in the delivery service would be investigated, and the appropriate action taken.
The spokesman said: "We will be taking the matter further internally."
