MAY I attempt to dispel some lingering misunderstandings about the production of the 150 Years of The Marlow Regatta booklet by the Marlow Museum Centre Project just recently.
Michael Barlow, SAS Ltd and Wycombe District Council made generous donations towards the costs of production.
Shirley Arnold, Chris Parry Photography.com, Marlow Rowing Club, and Wycombe District Museum allowed us to use their photographs free of charge.
The Marlow Town Regatta and Festival purchased 800 copies in advance of printing, and the Marlow Regatta similarly purchased 400 copies.
The booklet is now on sale at Marlow Tourist Information Centre and Horizons bookshop.
The text was written by Tony Evans, honorary secretary of the Marlow Regatta, with the cooperation of the Marlow Town Regatta and Festival.
The Marlow Museum Centre Project is very grateful to all the above for making it possible for us to commemorate an important anniversary in Marlow's history.
John Evans, Chairman, Marlow Museum Centre
