NEXT WEEKEND the Chinnor and Princes Risborough Railway will be hosting a Thomas the Tank Engine weekend. Thomas will be under the control of Sir Topham Hatt the Fat Controller and he will be joined by his friends Derek, Diesel and Daisy. Fergus, his new friend, will be seen shunting in the station yard at Chinnor.

Led by Wycombe District Council and chaired by District Councillor Mike Appleyard, this initiative will employ consultants to consider the future needs of the town, 15-20 years ahead.
Members of the Risborough Area Action Group who have produced a more immediate Vision and Action Plan for Risborough hope that this WDC project will add a longer term dimension to their work.
