AFTERNOON WI meets on the second Thursday of each month at 2pm in the village hall.
AIR AMBULANCE Service will be explained to Speen WI on Thursday at 7.45pm in Speen village hall when visitors will be very welcome.
STAGE PLUS offer Summer Imaginative Play at the Maize Maze from Monday until August 26, Monday to Friday.
Next week the subject will be Disney, August 8-12 will be Star Quest, August 15-19 will centre around wildlife and on August 22-26, Heroes and Heroines will be in the limelight.
All these sessions take place at the Maize Maze and cost £60 per week.
Meanwhile adults with toddlers can take advantage of ice creams and refreshments while tots build castles in the sand pit or the whole family can get lost in the maze, which is very easy to do.
There are also toys for sale, two large trampolines and go-karting.
A visit to the nearby Home of Rest for Horses could well be on the agenda. Car parking at both is easy and free.
