I AM calling on women to sign up for the Hydro Active Women's Challenge in London/Liverpool/Birmingham and run, jog or walk the five kilometre course in aid of Marie Curie Cancer Care.
This women-only event on Sunday, September 4, is a fantastic opportunity to have a great day out with the girls, and by running for Marie Curie Cancer Care you can help to make a real difference to the lives of cancer patients and their families.
Marie Curie Cancer Care provides high quality nursing, totally free of charge, to give terminally ill people the choice of dying at home surrounded by the things and people they hold most dear.
The charity also has 10 hospices around the UK which provide specialist care for in-patients, out-patients as well as day care.
My mum was cared for at a Marie Curie Hospice and I know the amazing work that Marie Curie nurses do.
That's why I am planning to run the Hydro Active Women's Challenge with my three sisters.
Places are filling up quickly, so if you would like to run for Marie Curie Cancer Care, contact Dimitar Lakov on 01604 442307 or visit www.mariecurie.org.uk/hydroactive
