NOW that I am old enough to be a grumpy old man, may I share some pet hates with readers.
MPVs Why are most of them driven by women who cannot judge the width properly? Why is the size of the vehicle in inverse proportion to the woman driver? I actually saw a woman driver looking through the steering wheel. Is the school run used as a means of showing off the latest enormous vehicle?
Boomer Boxes Why do youngsters nowadays have 50 megawatt speakers in their cars? Why do they find it necessary to drive with the windows open so that we can all enjoy the experience?
Garages Why does nobody use their garage any more? If people will buy vehicles that will not fit in their garage and so park outside someone else's house and cause no end of congestion then I would triple their road tax.
