FRIENDS and family of schoolboy Aidan Bristow, who died in a motorcycle accident last year, have unveiled a dedicated bench in his memory.
Relatives of Aidan, who was 12-years-old when he died, unveiled the bench which was purchased through savings by grandma Sarah Brown.
The bench was placed between two trees in the playground at Lane End Primary School on Tuesday.
Children from the school had chosen which area to place the bench.
Mrs Brown said: "He loved it there Lane End when he was small."
A spokesman for Lane End Primary School said it was in tribute to the popular schoolboy, She said: "He only left the school a year before he died and he was a very well liked member of the school community.
"He got on well with the children and the staff. He will be remembered as a popular schoolboy."
Great Marlow School which Aidan attended after Lane End, also unveiled their own tribute near their school staff room.
The school, in Bobmore Lane, Marlow, have also commemorated his memory with a bench.
Aidan, of Lane End, died at a converted bike track in Daws Hill Lane, Flackwell Heath, on May 23 last year. He had described the trip to the motocross track as "the best day of his life" just moments before the accident happened in front of his family.
Hundreds of people attended his funeral at Holy Trinity Church, in Lane End, while his family spent a one year anniversary remembering their loss with emotional tributes. Two white doves were also released at a bike track in Lane End where Aidan used to ride before travelling to the field in Flackwell Heath.
