I AM an American who lived in Gerrards Cross from 1968-1973. I revisited my beloved Gerrards Cross about four years ago and found that, despite improvements, the charm remained intact.
I do not know the reason for thesupermarket idea in Gerrards Cross, but it cannot be to improve charm or the livelihoods of local shopkeepers. If the reason is money (which it normally is), please, please, find a better way.
