NAPHILL & WALTER'S ASH SCHOOL are saying goodbye to two members of staff, Head of foundation year Kate Ruskell, who has been at the school for 11 years, and school administration officer Sandra Moore who is retiring after 22 years at the school. Sandra is sad to go but looking forward to putting her feet up and she is still laughing!
The parents ran a successful fete, which raised £2,000. During the last week of term the children will have been busy; Years five and six with their Dracula Rock Show. All the year groups will be presenting a music concert and there will be a country dancing afternoon for all year groups. They usually manage to rope in parents and sometimes staff. On their last day Year Six will celebrate with a beach party.
NAPHILL TODDLERS can look forward to a Teddy Bears' Picnic on Thursday, August 18 from 2pm to 4pm at the village hall. The price will be £3 per child and £5 for two. This will include the picnic and a bouncy castle.
