The report into the Tesco tunnel collapse in Gerrards Cross is due to be completed by Jackson Civil Engineering, the company in charge of building work at the site, in the next few days.
Network Rail and the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) will then decide the future of the tunnel and when Chiltern Railway services can resume.
Dominic Grieve, MP for Beaconsfield, was due to talk about the disaster in the House of Commons on Monday.
The tunnel which was being built to support a new Tesco collapsed on Thursday, June 30.
