ON behalf of members and officers of Wycombe District Council, I extend deepest sympathies to all families and friends of those who lost their lives, were injured or are missing following the atrocities in London.
Our thoughts are with them and particularly go to those residents of Wycombe district who have been personally affected by this tragedy. We would also extend our thanks and express admiration for the police, fire and rescue and medical teams who worked so hard under very difficult circumstances to help the victims of this terrible act.
We are fortunate to live in a district where people of all races and religions live together in harmony. We will continue to work to ensure that our cultural and ethnic diversity is preserved and respected and appeal to everyone to ensure that we maintain good relations.
Cllr Doug Anson, Chairman, Wycombe District Council
