MANY people must have been as perplexed as I was last Thursday at around 10.15pm to hear the great thunderclap of fireworks, and to see the sky brilliantly lit as if in celebration, coming from the direction of Mill Road in Marlow.
Who could be so insensitive? Many people had struggled out of London after a frightening day just glad to be alive. Who could have anything to celebrate when most of us were glued to the TV news?
